Silverish is an online jewellery shop in Bangladesh with one idea: real silver should be something you reach for every morning, not something you save for an occasion.
Why we started
Real silver,without the guesswork.
Buying silver online can be a gamble: is it really silver, will it darken in a week, will it look like the photo? We started Silverish to take that guesswork away, with light, modern pieces you can wear every day and forget you have on.
Every piece we sell is imported 925 sterling silver, hallmarked, with a rhodium coating for a brighter, longer-lasting shine. We check each one before it leaves us and deliver across Bangladesh, with cash on delivery available everywhere.
Before it ships
Checked, piece by piece
Before a piece is packed we look at it closely: the 925 hallmark, the rhodium finish, any stones and their settings. Clasps are opened and closed, chains are pulled and earring posts are checked for straightness.
Only then is it cleaned, boxed and handed to the courier, so what arrives is what you saw on the page.
The material
Why 925
Pure silver is too soft for jewellery; it bends and scratches within days. Sterling silver is 92.5% silver with a small amount of other metal added for strength, and it has been the benchmark for fine silver for centuries. That is what the 925 stamp on our pieces stands for.
Our pieces also carry a rhodium coating, a bright, hard metal from the platinum family. It adds shine and protects the silver from scratches, tarnish and everyday wear, which is why rhodium-coated silver costs more than raw silver by weight.
